I want to know what exactly is the cost of running a F1 car, what are the design costs, running costs and what is the life time of a F1 car? Also I want to know what is done with the car that is, in other words scrapped?

David S asked:

I just bought the car recently from a friend and it won’t pass the smog check. I know in CA, you can’t legally sell a car that won’t pass, but since I bought it from a friend I was planning on just getting it fixed. I just don’t know what I’m looking at costwise or what the probable causes are. Anyone?

Looking for the best option for a friend, the car is in garage at night, near sea at day, and should be low cost maintenance. Until now she drives Toyota Yaris, quite good.

Im looking to purchase a car, and one of the cars im looking at has a rebuilt title. It is a very nice car and i looked at it and the owner looks like he spent a lot of time on it. When i checked it out i met him at the body shop he worked at. He said he bought it damaged and had it fixed up in the body shop for way less than going through insurance and thats why it has a rebuilt title. The car is in very good shape. I need to know some of the things to look for such as vin numbers with different parts, and how exactly to transfer the title if i purchase it without getting jipped.

Dad asked:

Notice that new smell of a brand new car? Nothing feels as great as having your car smell like brand new. It just gives a great feeling. Unfortunately, the smell is temporary and you might be interested in purchasing another new car in the future just for that smell. But isn’t there something I could buy for the car so it smell like brand new again?

Kevin asked:

My wife and I purchased a new car in 2006. The car is used for both personal use, and for use in my business. Can I deduct anything on my taxes in regards to the purchase of this car? Would I be listing the car as a business asset?

Josh asked:

Please help me, I want to know how cars work. I understand the engine, but just not the parts that are attacted to the engines to make it work and therefore move the car.

I have a 1992 Buick Skylark that runs pretty good. However, when I do long distance driving, I touch the brakes and there’s this scunching sound, the car jerks a little, and the car just shuts off. It cranks right back up, though. Any ideas on what may be causing this?
