My girlfriend has a 2002 Hyundai Accent with about 130,000 miles. We took it to a car wash. After leaving the car wash, the check engine light started flashing and the engine shook. After about 15 minutes the shaking stopped and the car drove normally again. This happened about 3 weeks ago and there have been no issues since then. What would cause her car to do this?

   The ignition system.

   The block if original wires got wet and were arcing to the block if original wires got wet and were arcing to the block if original wires got wet and were arcing to the block if original wires got wet and were arcing to replace them.

   Both previous people were correct. Wet ignition wires. Solution . Replace spark plug wires as well as cap and rotor
